After installing your new equipment, we must test to ensure that it has been installed correctly. Installing and commissioning ensures your customer is being taken care of. Not only that, but its also taking care of your reputation. Fill out the attached sheets completely. If something is not correct it will show on the sheet. If you are not sure go ahead and submit it to us and we will also take a look with you. Leave a copy on site so the next guy knows where that system was benched at in case other problems arise. This process takes a little more time up front but will prevent multiple call backs trying to chase things you haven't tested, therefore losing all your profit on the job.
Key Points:
1.There is no such measurement as "its good" or "looks good" or " Feels good" or "seems to be running fine".
If your not testing, your guessing....
2.Airflow, Airflow, Airflow.....
Take this step seriously, verify that you have the correct airflow tap selected.
3. Charge will never be correct unless airflow is correct....
Typically we see a 3 ton blower on high speed over a 2 ton coil... This can lead to over/under charging and cause compressors to fail prematurely. Even though your pressures might "look good".
