Subject: Indoor Installation of H-Series Outdoor Units
Introduction
The following discussion is to address the practice of locating H-Series outdoor units to an indoor location. Based
upon requirements from the system owner, design engineer or architect, there may be various reasons for
consideration of installing the outdoor unit(s) to an indoor location. This may include, but is not limited to,
aesthetics, installation ease, outside element exposure, or locations detrimental to the outdoor unit, such as parking
lots where unit damage could occur.
Discussion
When desired, locating H-Series outdoor units to an indoor location may be performed. Careful consideration to the
topics discussed herein must be fully reviewed and compliance approved by any and all governing authorities.
