Check float switch for obstructions such as dust build-up, etc.
Remove float switch plug and check to see if the switch is open or close by checking the molex plug for the pump using a meter.
Check if the connection from the float switch is solid and not loose from the indoor control board. Plug should snap in when properly inserted. If connection is good, inspect for pinched or shorted wire.
Drain hose should be clear of any clogging. If you suspect there could be something obstructing the hose blow nitrogen through the hose to clear any thing that could be clogging the hose of water passage.
If first four checks do not clear the error from the system, the indoor Controller PCB would need replacing.
*Wall mounted units should never flash a float switch error. However, should one wall mount flash this error code immediately change the indoor Controller PCB.
