In regards to pressure for R410a systems you should see typically...

AC Pressure and Temperature Guidelines for R410A Systems

1. Pressure Ranges for R410A Systems:

  • Low Side Pressure: 118 - 125 PSI

  • High Side Pressure (Standard Equipment): Approximately 20°F over ambient temperature

    • Example: At 75°F outdoor temperature, the high side pressure should be around 232 PSI.

2. Target Temperature Guidelines (Recommended Focus):

  • Comfort Cooling Evaporator Temp Target: 40 - 45°F

  • Condenser Temp Target:

    • Standard Equipment: 20°F over ambient

    • Higher SEER Equipment: 15°F over ambient

Important Reminder:

  • Verify airflow first — improper airflow will result in inaccurate readings and won't mean a thing
