It looks like a total of four (4) switches will be needed to use all of the functions of the fan and light with wall switches.

Code is now requiring bath fans to run all the time on a low speed.
The fan will still need to have a "service disconnect" (switch) to de-energize the device for future service.
This switch will need to be "on" all of the time to allow for "low speed" operation.
Additionally, a 120v switch will be needed for:
Night light
Standard light
(Requiring a total of four (4) conductors of 120v. 3 line and one neutral wire. Ground wires are also required)
A separate 2-conductor wire will be needed to another switch for control of low / high speed fans. DO NOT CONNECT 120v to these wires.
An alternate, to reduce the need for a "low / high" speed switch, is by adding the "plug in" occupancy module FV-MSVK1
