We get questions every season: "How do I change the fuel from Natural gas to propane on this furnace?"

The gas valves used in most mobile home-style furnaces does not have the typical "spring and screw" adjustment method.

They use a "fixed" piece that is designed to provide a fast, easy conversion from Natural gas to Propane (L.P.), and back again.

This is accomplished by removing an externally accessible "stem" from the gas valve body.

The stem has threads on both ends, one labeled NAT --->, and the other labeled LP --->.

Looking at the stem, one would see: <--- NAT  LP --->

Point the Fuel ARROW toward the valve body to select the fuel use.

Be sure to measure the INLET gas pressure and regulated OUTLET pressure of the furnace to make sure the fuel supply is correct for the application.
