When performing a combustion analysis, it is important to know what readings are good and what is bad. In most cases, bad readings can be corrected by making some minor adjustments. Those adjustments would include:
Properly setting the airflow to match btu content.
Properly adjusting inlet and outlet gas pressure.
Addressing intake/venting concerns.
Addressing drainage concerns.
verifying load requirements and design.
Adjusting/cleaning burners, orifices, and blower wheels.
Follow this guide for acceptable results and always refer to the manufacture specs for further details or requirements.
NOTE: Unacceptable results that cannot be corrected with adjustments, may require further visual inspection of the combustion chambers or heat exchangers.
