A: The right answer to this is no. BUT if you really need to, use butt connectors or crimp caps. It is important that the wire ends are NOT twisted together.

Q: What are the dashes on the screen on the J series units?

A: The dashes indicate that the unit has not gone through its "Check Run" function. This function sees how many indoor units are connected and connected capacity. 

Q: Why is the "Check Run" keep on failing?

A: When the check run function fails, be sure that all indoor units are turned off. If any are running the "Check Run" will not be able to complete. Also make sure addressing is correct.

Q: Can I use press fittings to install Fujitsu VRF?

A: You can use press fittings. Fujitsu does not take any responsibility or damage from leaks when using these fittings. Be sure to follow manufacture instructions for pressing.

Q: How do I design VRF systems?

Q: Can you do both heating and cooling at the same time with VRF?

A: It depends on the system you are quoting. The VRF comes in heat pump and heat recovery type of systems. Heat recovery is the type of system that allows for simultaneous heating and cooling. Heat Pump systems are either all heat or all cooling mode. 

Q: What is VRF?

A: VRF is Variable Refrigerant Flow. VRF uses pressure transducers to maintain pressures and utilizes EEV's indoors and outdoors in order to deliver precise amounts of refrigerant for maximum efficiency.
